Dr. Tamerisa is the nicest person and she's gathered an excellent staff around her that reflect that. Every single person I've met there is very nice, friendly and kind. Office staff, doctor, PA's - they all listen and are compassionate.

My second EOE procedure with Dr. Tamerisa and her team. Highly recommend her for any and all of your gastrointestinal needs. She’s been my doctor for about 5 years and she’s wonderful. From the pre-op to the surgery and then post-op procedures, she and her team are professional and attentive. The atmosphere is super friendly and they make you feel so comfortable. I had a virtual appointment today. It was so easy and since my doctor is a two hour drive from where i have moved to it made getting my prescription renewed very easy. I love Dr. Tamerisa and her staff. They are all very kind and caring.

Beautiful facility and courteous front desk employees. As for Dr. Tamerisa, I have seen numerous G.I. doctors and she is hands down the best. She listens, very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and was able to diagnose my issue when other G.I. doctors couldn't. I highly recommend her.

Truly outstanding service from the office staff to the physician. They treated me respectfully and took time to hear my concerns and to provide me with explanations and information that helped me understand what I was to expect as we progressed through the appointment. I was so pleased by my experience at Katy Gastro. The waiting room is up to date on its decor; the reception and check in were simple, and my wait time was very minimal. The medical assistants seemed very knowledgeable, unlike some doctors offices I have been in. Dr. Shapiro was so thorough in his discovery of my issues, and even asked if I had questions for him. That sounds simple, but I have been seen by practitioners who are so anxious to leave the room, it feels like I am bothering them to ask questions. I felt heard and cared for.

The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I am very impressed with the way they work their patients and answer all my questions. It was a great experience.

Going for a colonoscopy is an unknown world for most of us but I had absolutely no concerns and was treated very well and professionally! All my questions were answered and they were extremely patient with me and even helped me reschedule my appointment after a family funeral forced a date change. I recommend these folks for sure - it is well worth the peace of mind for good health!
